Range and Watershed Management

The Rangeland and Watershed Management program Technology was formed in 1993 at Isfahan University of Technology. The program consists of range scientists, ecologists, hydrologists, Pedologist, foresters and social scientists that study natural environmental processes and how they interact with human systems. The programcovers both undergraduate and postgraduate levels in "Rangeland and Watershed Management","Combating Desertification" and "Range Sciences".

Opportunities exist to work closely with highly qualified scientists on ongoing re  search and to pursue independent studies.  Excellent laboratories and specialized equipment are available.

At the undergraduate level, the program offers majors in “Range and Watershed Management” and at the postgraduate level it offers masters in” Range Management” and, “Combating Desertification”program.  The program also offers PhD in “Range Sciences”. Despite the fact that this programinvolves only two masters programs, opportunities for graduating students span a broad spectrum of careers in the fields of watershed science, range management, restoration and conservation ecology, and arid land reclamation.
